At the Rhode Island SPCA, our top priorities are the safety, well-being, and successful adoption of every dog in our care. Some dogs may still be adjusting to this new environment, recovering from past stress or uncertainty, and meeting lots of new people at once can feel overwhelming. Having a calm, quiet environment makes a big difference in helping them feel safe and show their true personalities.
