🐾 No Nuts November – CAT - neuter-a-thon at the Rhode Island SPCA

Goal: Neuter 100 cats in 3 hours as part of a one-day, high-impact community event.
Date/Time: Saturday, November 15th 2025 - 8:00 - 9:00am drop off / 2:00 - 3:00pm pick up
Cost to Owners: Pay What You Can – with the goal of offering services at little to no cost.

• Neuter surgery

• Rabies vaccine

• FVRCP vaccine

• Microchip

• Post-op pain control injection

• Nail trim

• Flea & Tick Preventative

🐱 Eligibility Requirements

• Owned male cats only (no ferals, no rescue cats)

• Cats must be healthy, young, and reasonably social (4 months - 5 years old)

• All incomes qualify

• Cats must arrive in hard-sided carriers (1 cat per carrier)

• Recovery will occur in carriers

• Loaner carriers available in advance from RISPCA

💡Notes

• No brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds.

• Cryptorchid cats will not be done day-of; special follow-up surgery slots will be provided.

• No household cat limit – multiple cats per family welcome.

• Out of state cats welcome.
